Maria entered my life when I felt like I was drowning. True, I had felt this underpull in the harsh waters we have treaded more than once before. But this time the storm brought to my front door was a tsunami. Without all the details...How has Maria made a difference in my life?
She was like a gentle nurse with the Red Cross entering ground zero during the aftermath of a storm that we were badly weathering. She assisted us with so much kindness and tender care. Providing the physical and mental strength we needed to cope with the hours that lay ahead of us and the months that would follow. She had an outpour of truly needed nudges and encouragement at just the right opportunity. her voice was a melody of comfort, what she shared was just the right passage at the right time. Maria had resources for me to review and associates that helped calm our anxiety-filled minds, also at the right time. Again timing is everything, and that is what Maria provided for my small family. She listened intently, taking keen notes on the situation, and produced materials and persons I needed to help me cope or have the courage to keep facing the battle. I felt well equipped to continue the fight to keep my child safe even when the clouds seemed the darkest and the waters around us seemed to be shark-infested. The storm will settle and the skies will be blue again, we have complete confidence. thanks to not only Maria but also our faith. We will forever be indebted to Maria and her wonderful patience and kindness.
